How many days can a celebration announcement run?
You can run your announcement on multiple days and in multiple publications. 

Can I work on my celebration ad and save it without submitting?

Yes, celebration ads can be saved and worked on at a later time. To do this, create an account and then log in when you would like to return and finish the celebration.

Can I make corrections/additions to my celebration announcement?

Yes, corrections/additions can be made to an announcement, provided they are received by the deadline. Simply log into your account, locate your announcement in the "Future Ads" area, and "Modify" the celebration announcement. If you are paying by credit card and your modification change the cost of the announcement, you will be credited/debited the correct amount, depending on if your celebration announcement increases or decreases.

Can I manipulate the information within the ad, i.e. bold, centering etc.? 

Yes, you have the ability to spell check, bold, italicize, center or justify your text.

Will the photo in my celebration ad run in color?

Your photo will run in color if color is available in that publication, all photos must be uploaded in color.

Announcement Photo Tips:
• Select a photo that was shot in natural light without a flash. 
• Photos are relatively small. Be sure the photo is shot with minimal shadows.
• The better the quality of the original image, the better it will look when printed.
• For best results, please select a jpg photo that is at least 200 dpi.

Is JPG the only format that can be used for a photo? 

Yes, all files must be jpegs.

Can I use a photo from a website?

Photos from websites are usually too small to print well, even if they look fine on the screen. Images need to be high resolution to avoid looking fuzzy in print. 

What is a good resolution for a photo?

A photo should be no less than 200 dpi at the size it will print.

Is there a maximum file size for a photo?  

Yes.  Photos should be under 2,000 Kbytes or 2 MB

What if I miss the deadline for a publication?

Unfortunately, you will need to choose the next available date. If the date is unavailable on your screen, the deadline has passed.

Will I be able to view my celebration ad online?

Yes, all celebration ads are displayed on our online news sites.

How will I know how much my celebration announcement will cost?
Our easy to use self-service portal will automatically quote the cost of the announcement as you build it.

How do I pay for my celebration ad?

All celebration ads must be prepaid with a credit card prior to deadline in order to publish as requested.

Where will my celebration ad appear in the publication?

All celebration ads appear in the main news section of our publications.

Is the preview of my celebration ad an accurate representation of how it will look in your publication?

Yes, the preview that is provided of your completed celebration ad is how it will appear in the newspaper. Please take this opportunity to ensure that spelling, grammar, and wording is how you wish to see it in the paper as this preview will serve as your proof for publication

How will I know if the newspaper receives my announcement?

You will receive a confirmation email along with an emailed proof of the announcement once the order is completed and you have submitted it for publication. Please be sure to enter an accurate email address where you wish to have the final PDF proof sent.
